CPLL is holding a 1-day Umpire clinic on April 18, 2026 and attendance is MANDATORY for all current and prospective umpires.
If you do not attend this clinic, you will not be able to umpire for the 2026 season.
When: April 18, 2026
What: MANDATORY 1-day Umpire Clinic
When: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm (Lunch will be provided)
Where: Abbotsfield Recreation Centre, 3006 119 Avenue NW, Edmonton
Participants must wear weather appropriate clothing and running shoes, as a portion of the clinic will take place outdoors.
This clinic will cover:
- Rules, game management, and handling conflicts
- Plate mechanics
- Base mechanics and positioning
- Pregame/play meetings
- Communication and timing
Please just show up to the clinic and you will be registered onsite.
