DESCRIPTION:Advanced Coed Baseball\n\n\nWhat: Advanced Coed Baseball Camp\nDays/Times: Sundays 5:30 – 7:30 pm\nDates: March 29 – April 26\, 2026 (No camp on April 5)\nLocation: Edmonton Garrison Field House\nCost: $50/player \n\nBOYS/GIRLS – AGES 10-14 – COURSE CODE: SPO262716221 – REGISTER HERE \n\n\nPLEASE NOTE: THIS IS AN ADVANCED LEVEL CAMP AND ALL REGISTRANTS MUST BE A PREVIOUS “ALL STAR” TEAM MEMBER OR HAVE 5 YEARS PREVIOUS BASEBALL EXPERIENCE. AGES 10-14. \nIn partnership with the Edmonton Garrison PSP and the Edmonton Riverhawks\, this camp is an advanced component to the Skills & Drills Baseball Program and provided detailed instruction for aspiring pitchers\, catchers\, infielders\, outfielders\, etc. \nThe program will be designed and led by Community Park Little League coaches with support from other experienced coaches from the Edmonton Riverhawks\, as well as PSP Recreation Leaders. Players will receive quality instruction\, repetitions and feedback. Through the game of baseball\, participants build core life skills like teamwork\, communication\, resilience\, courage\, and inclusion. The program ensures athletes of all abilities can thrive in a fun\, safe\, and inclusive environment where they gain confidence\, grow their independence\, and form lasting friendships with their peers. \nAthletes with disabilities involved in Challenger Baseball programs increase:\n– Independence\n– Self-esteem and self-awareness\n– Relationships to peers\n– Connection to positive role models\n– Their courage to try new challenges\n– Likelihood of living a physically active life\n– Baseball & Physical Literacy skills \nIf you’re looking for a fun introduction to baseball and to get your child moving\, this is the program for you! \nWhat to expect? \n\nFour 1.5 hour sessions\nModified games that are age-appropriate\, simple and FUN.\nSafe\, fun and appropriate for all skill levels.\nCertified coaches and trained staff.\n\nAdditional Information: \nWe aim to ensure that our facility and program space is accessible\, as feasibly possible within the pre-existing infrastructure. Push button doors are located at the front of the facility\, entrance to the fieldhouse\, and male and female washrooms on the main floor. Designated parking stalls are available for individuals who possess an issued disabled placard. Should individuals need to access our higher or lower levels\, a key to the wheelchair lifts can be provided upon request.
