Through the game of baseball\, participants build core life skills like teamwork\, communication\, resilience\, courage\, and inclusion. The program ensures athletes of all abilities can thrive in a fun\, safe\, and inclusive environment where they gain confidence\, grow their independence\, and form lasting friendships with their peers. \nAthletes with disabilities involved in Challenger Baseball programs increase:\n– Independence\n– Self-esteem and self-awareness\n– Relationships to peers\n– Connection to positive role models\n– Their courage to try new challenges\n– Likelihood of living a physically active life\n– Baseball & Physical Literacy skills \nIf you’re looking for a fun introduction to baseball and to get your child moving\, this is the program for you! \nWhat to expect? \n\nFour 1.5 hour sessions\nModified games that are age-appropriate\, simple and FUN.\nSafe\, fun and appropriate for all skill levels.\nCertified coaches and trained staff.\n\nAdditional Information: \nWe aim to ensure that our facility and program space is accessible\, as feasibly possible within the pre-existing infrastructure.
