DESCRIPTION:INTERESTED IN BEING A LITTLE LEAGUE UMPIRE? \nPut on by Edmonton Little League: \nNew and experienced umpires in the Edmonton region\, (men and women ages 13 and up) are invited to join us for our Umpire Winter Training Sessions! \nPURPOSE: To provide all umpires in the Edmonton region with FREE off-season umpire training sessions containing important information and skill development as we prepare for the 2024 baseball season. \nDates\nSunday 25 February 1330  – 1530h\nSunday 03 March 1330  – 1530h\nSunday 10 March 1330  – 1530h \n– Warm-ups for umpires – Fundamentals (calls\, signals\, techniques)\n– Mechanics at the plate and on bases – Umpire equipment \nThese Clinics include:\nInstructions in Plate Mechanics\nField Mechanics\nPositioning\nCommunication \nPlease wear comfortable clothing\, footwear and bring a water bottle for yourself.
