Information for All Divisions

  • The House League season runs from the beginning of May until the end of June.
  • Boys play for the Pirates. Girls may choose to play on an all girl Pixies team, or co-ed with the Pirates.
Girls may request to play one additional year in a division if they choose (eg. 13 years old playing in Majors) and may play to age 17.
  • Most games are played at north Edmonton diamonds, including Castledowns Park, Kirkness Park and Rundle Park. Some games may be on the south side depending on inter-league divisions. Schedules will be released prior to season start. Please see our Diamond and Facilities page for more info.
  • Players will be placed on teams; jerseys will be distributed the last week of April.
  • If registration numbers allow, our Minor and Major divisions will consist of house and AA level teams. AA teams will inter-league with Confederation Park, and players for these teams will be decided based on evaluation scores. Attending an evaluation session is mandatory for players interested in being placed on a competitive AA team.
  • Teams may practice prior to the season start depending on weather, at discretion of the coaches.
  • Teams will have weekly practices. Days and times are TBD.
  • All players receive a team photo, hat and undershirt included in their registration. Photos will be taken mid-may, dates and times will be communicated.
  • Jerseys, pants and a belt will be lent to players for the season and are to be returned after the season ends. A deposit of $200 is required and will only be charged if the jersey, pants and belt are not returned in good, clean condition.
  • Each family is required to fulfill one volunteer commitment and provide a volunteer deposit of $250. If this commitment is not fulfilled, the deposit will be charged. You may also pay out this amount if you do not wish to volunteer.
  • Each player is also required to participate in the bottle drive (Sunday, May 3, 2026) and a deposit of $100 is required. This is one of our main fundraisers and helps keep our registration fees low. If this commitment is not fulfilled, the deposit will be charged. You may also pay out this amount if you do not wish to participate.
  • Players in the Minor division and up may be eligible to play on a Summer All-Star team. These teams play into July/August and have weeknight practices and tournaments on the weekends. These teams have the opportunity to compete in Regional, Prairie and Canadian tournaments, all of which lead to a chance to play in the Little League World Series! For more info, click here for the Summer All Stars page.
